In 2012, Supa Dupa Kids Parties burst to life like a confetti cannon of creativity and joy, thanks to the vision and heart of Kath Solly. The business didn’t just start—it was crafted, inspired by a tapestry of influences from her family’s vibrant history.

Supa Dupa’s Chief Entertainer Officer Kath Solly was born an entertainer, with her grandfather pointing out when she was three years old that she was going to be the families comedian – and right he was.

Kath’s mum, Jenny—a primary school music teacher with a creative spark and a love for sharing the magic of music with kids. She not only inspired the joy behind Supa Dupa Kids Parties, was a face painter herself, but also worked her magic behind the scenes, upcycling treasures from a 30+ year-old dress-up box and sewing finishing touches to

the first Supa Dupa costumes.

Then there was her her grandfather – “Macka” the ultimate entertainer with a side hustle in comedy and music, he taught Kath the art of making people laugh and the lesson that “you should always leave the audience wanting more.”

And all of that was underpinned by a Business savvy dad – Matt the steady hand with small business wisdom, offering a guiding light in turning big dreams into reality.

But Supa Dupa was never just about running a business—it was about spreading joy. From the very beginning, the mission was clear: to create moments that make kids beam with excitement, parents chuckle, and entire parties erupt with laughter. Kath believed in the extraordinary power of happiness—how it connects, uplifts, and stays with people long after the balloons have popped.
